Shoutout DFW article about Stephanie Morrison

Meet Stephanie Morrison! We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Morrison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephanie, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson I learned in my 25 years in Human Resources is there is no guarantee or security in a job, nor in life. Growing up, I thought if I was able to get a good job with a stable company, I would be set for life and I would stay there until I retired. While I always wanted to own my own business, I thought it was too risky and a corporate job was the safe bet. I can tell you after all that time with downsizing, rightsizing and budget cuts, that no one outside of the company owners were safe. At any moment, your life could change on a dime and the security you thought would last forever was gone. The good news is that once you realize you need to take control of future and your destiny, that is where your power comes from. If there is no guarantee either in a corporate job nor in starting your own business, you may as well follow your heart and follow your passion. Do not give your power away.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of wellness center in McKinney, Texas called Next Level Harmonics. I could feel something starting to stir in me and I knew my passion for helping others was leading me to a new path. One day while watching television, I saw an interview with Gail Lynn, the inventor of the Harmonic Egg and I was in awe of the incredible benefits it was having on the lives of her clients. The Harmonic Egg uses light sound and frequency through music to bring the body into a state of total relaxation. When the body is at rest, great insights and even healing can occur. I called her right away and knew in my heart that working with this powerful technology and opening my center was what I was meant to do.

What I am most proud of is the positive difference I am seeing in the lives of my clients. I see clients from all different ages and backgrounds. My clients include physicians, firefighters. teachers, and children dealing with depression and ADHD. Everyone has unique needs and I love the bond that is created by spending time with them and helping them in their wellness journeys.

Starting your own business will at times be challenging, but that is what leads to the feeling of accomplishment, it is about feeling frustrated when a difficult problem arises but not giving up. I’ve learned that being successful does not meaning having all of the answers, it is about have a strong team of people around you who have skills in your areas of weakness.

The greatest lesson I’ve learned so far, is to put yourself out there and go for it! I am more of an introvert so putting myself and my business out there has really stretched me and continues to stretch me every day.
